Calling all bakers! Enter the Apple Strudel Contest at Oktoberfest Detroit Lakes and showcase your skills. Craft the perfect strudel for a chance to win the title of Strudel Master. Join us in celebrating tradition, flavor, and the joy of baking. Don't miss this mouthwatering competition!

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
1.  Bring your prepared apple strudel and typed recipe to Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary’s Oktoberfest DL on Saturday, September 21 between 12 and 1:30 pm. No early or late entries allowed. Winners announced after 2 pm at the competition.
2.  Entries must be delivered in non-returnable containers. Containers will not be returned. (No refrigeration available).
3.  Apple strudel recipe must be typed on an 8.5” x 11” paper. List all ingredients with measurements, preparation instructions, prep time, and yield. Be sure to include your first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address.
4.  Recipes must be prepared by you. Using published recipes is allowed but be sure to credit the source (i.e. note the cookbook, website, magazine, blog, etc.) that inspired your apple strudel creation.
5.   Indicate on your entry the date your apple strudel was made.
6.  By submitting your entry, you accept all contest rules and agree to be bound by the judges’ decision which are final. Judges are chosen by OktoberfestDL committee and Project 412. Entrants may be asked to sign a written consent form to participate. This contest is intended for amateur cooks of any age.
7.  Participants may enter up to two recipes.

●  If desired, please include any stories, comments, or background about your entry. This is not a contest requirement; your anecdote may be used in publicity if your entry is selected as a finalist.
